Dementia Conversations – November 19 Dinner and Learn Hosted by Astoria Senior Living

October 4, 2024

When someone is showing signs of dementia, it’s time to talk. Join Astoria Senior Living and Memory Care in Omaha, Nebraska, for “Dementia Conversations” on November 19, 2024, held in partnership with The Alzheimer’s Association of Nebraska.

Often, conversations about changing behaviors can be challenging and uncomfortable. Join us for dinner and learn tips for breaking the ice with your family so you can address some common issues that are difficult to discuss including: going to the doctor for a diagnosis or medical treatment, deciding when to stop driving, making legal and financial plans for future care and more. Presenter Dr. Ethan Schroeder, Community Educator with the Alzheimer’s Association of Nebraska, will lead the discussion and will take questions from attendees.
