Astoria in Omaha recently hosted a Ribbon Cutting and Open House to celebrate their new ownership, management and name. The community, formerly known as Brighton Gardens of Omaha, joined the Agemark family officially on February 1, 2023.
To celebrate, more than 100 attendees including staff, residents, families and area professionals enjoyed a delightful spread of drinks and appetizers, live music, and giveaways and participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Astoria resident Bob Griffith was invited to cut the ribbon on behalf of Astoria. Bob is a former volunteer with the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce and spent 25 years in service to the organization as an ambassador. Representatives with the chamber, as well as Agemark CEO Marty Hug and Astoria Executive Director Jennifer Beisham addressed the crowd.
