About Amy Hensley, Co-Founder, Sips & Wishes
Amy Hensley transitioned from a successful 20-year career as a graphic designer to pursue her true calling in nursing. Following earning her nursing degree, she gained experience in a critical access hospital, where she handled everything from birth to end-of-life care, Amy earned her MSN and began teaching. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for guiding others to find their voices, leading her to become a hospice nurse and end-of-life educator. Amy’s journey has taught her the importance of bringing grace, humor, and understanding to difficult conversations. She believes that everyone’s experiences, viewpoints, and expectations are valuable, and she embraces the challenge of discussing life’s most uncomfortable topics.
